Chippendale Dining Room

Suite of Dining Room furniture in carved, painted and gilded timber. Working entirely in the style of Thomas Chippendale, we produced the Table with matching set of Dining Chairs, the pair of Chandeliers, and the pair of Girandoles hanging either side of the Serving Table. The table and chairs were painted in an eighteenth century off-white distemper, lightly patinated, the chandeliers were treated in the same way with various elements picked out in gold. The girandoles, which were based on the image above right and adapted to include electrified foliated candle branches, were given and eighteenth century gilded finish.
