Set of twelve Dining Chairs in ebonised timber loosely based on a late seventeenth century design, traditionally upholstered, and covered with chenille fabric and silk braid. The legs are hand polished in a lightly patinated ebony finish, with the carved elements picked out in 'gilvering' (a mixture of silver and gold leaf).
