Panelled study with fitted bookcases made in solid Walnut with carved and gilded enrichment. The panels were veneered with ‘curl’ Walnut and the columns and pilasters in burr Walnut. All of the woodwork was French Polished by hand to give a soft sheen. Over 300 metres of ‘carving’ were cast in resin from hand carved patterns and oil gilded. Although traditional in form, this panelled Study incorporates state of the art communication media, scene lighting and environment control.
