A pair of Demi-Lune Commodes designed in the Spirit of Robert Adam. Based on careful observation of historic examples, these commodes were traditionally made using solid timber for the carcase construction, with an applied thick veneer facade. Antique veneer was sourced for the marquetry, with antique locks, keys and screws being used throughout. The commodes are polished and coloured by hand to a soft eighteenth century patination.
