Pair of Overmantel Mirrors in carved and gilded timber. Although these mirrors were designed and made to fit specific spaces, all of the detailing was taken directly from historical sources, and the pieces were given an early nineteenth century patination, making them indistinguishable from mirrors of the same period. Antique glass was sourced for the mirror plates which was cut to fit the new frames.
